When this was started, we included a majority of tracks from Nine Inch Nails‘ landmark instrumental work, Ghosts I–IV, to play in the late hours of the day but now many of the songs have been added to the regular rotation.
Released in 2008, Ghosts I–IV is a sprawling, multi-part album that moves beyond ambient, traditional rock and industrial structures to explore mood, texture, and sonic space. It is the sixth studio album by the American industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails.
If you appreciate the kind of music that builds tension, cinematic landscapes, and rewards deep listening, you will find Ghosts I–IV comforting. From the quietest rustles of “Ghosts 1” to the more robust energy of the later movements, these sounds will now infuse our regular programming.
