Paris-based composer Yokiko Kamurasa (the alias of Christophe Devaux) presents the album We Let Marvellous Sometimes Get In.

The project features expansive ambient compositions such as “Utopias,” “The World, Entire,” and “The Sky, Entire,” which are built upon a foundation of electric guitar, pedal effects, and layered vocals. These tracks are designed to encourage a deliberate slowing of time, offering a contemplative space that contrasts with the fast pace of modern life.

Drawing from his history in post-rock and experimental groups like Absinthe (Provisoire) and SAP(e), Yokiko Kamurasa crafts a soundscape intended for both internal reflection and majestic live performance.

The arrangements on We Let Marvellous Sometimes Get In transition from ethereal guitar textures to delicate piano finales, envisioning a stage experience enriched by choirs and string sections. The result is a revitalizing sonic environment that provides comfort and a sense of stillness.
